Tom Littledeer Maplewood Utensils

Some kitchen tools are worth keeping for decades. Tom Littledeer’s maple utensils are the perfect example, and they started with a canoe paddle.

Tom Littledeer set out to design a better canoe paddle. The tiny promo versions he made turned out to be the real hit, and the first of those became the Pot Scoop. Since then he and his team in Carignan, Quebec have sold over a million Littledeer utensils. The utensils fit comfortably in the hand and have left or right-handed versions,  carved from a single piece of solid North American maple. They make incredible Canadian-made gifts as they travel well and are so unique.
