Valentine's Inspiration

We say Valentine's Day isn't just for romance, it's a great reason to have a little FUN and a lot of chocolate! Here is a super simple, and super yummy recipe for our favourite Chocolate Truffles. Perfect activity for the kids to get in on too! What could be sweeter than a heart shaped chocolate brownie! We tried out our Stonewall Kitchen Chocolate Brownie mix in our Le Creuset heart shaped pan - and the results were super cute and DELICIOUS! We topped ours with a dusting of icing sugar, crushed pistachios, dried rose petals and a side of freshly whipped cream. So perfectly Valentine's!

Carrie's FAVOURITE Fondue Recipe

• 1/3 pound firm alpine-style cheese — such as gruyere.
• 1/3 pound fontina.
• 1/3 pound gouda.
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
• 1 cup dry white wine — such as Sauvignon Blanc.
• 1 clove garlic — minced.
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
• dash of nutmeg
• 1 tablespoon brandy - a MUST

Tips to perfect Fondue:

1. Use Good-Quality Cheese
2. Grate the Cheese
3. Toss the Cheese with Cornstarch Thoroughly
4. Use a nice dry white wine
5. Def add the brandy
6. Don't forget the nutmeg
