Easter Feast!
Easter is almost here and we are EXCITED to celebrate all things Spring with Family and Friends. Carrie is sharing some of her favourite go-to recipes for Easter entertaining and her not-so-secret TIP to making restaurant worthy mashed potatoes. Trust us - you won't do your mashed potatoes any other way after tasting these!
Once your cooked potatoes are RICED, warm cream and butter on the stove, add riced potatoes and mix well with a silicone spatula. The riced potatoes and cream mixture will blend smooth. Then add our favourite The Garlic Box White Cheddar & Chive Garlic Potato Seasoning - available in our Gourmet Foods section in store. We promise you won't be disappointed.
Easter Rack of Lamb. Prep your rack of lamb by simply scoring the fat with the tip of a sharp knife in a lattice fashion. This will allow your marinade to saturate into the meat. Carrie's favourite Lamb marinade is simple - high quality olive oil, microplane garlic, salt and pepper. Massage the marinade into the scored area. Heat your cast iron fry pan and sear the fat side until browned all over. Then place your cast iron skillet into the oven and cook til the recommended core temperature reaches 120°F

- sea salt
- fresh cracked pepper
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Mix well and rub over the carrots + roast.
