The New New Age Rose and Reishi Serum

The New New Age was founded by Katie and Stephen Hotchkiss in 2012 in Los Angeles, California as a Public Benefit Corporation with a core purpose of serving both human and environmental health.  In 2014 the company moved to Stephen’s family farm in rural southwestern Ontario, Canada to better serve the company’s intersectional core purpose by growing healing herbs in an ecologically regenerative manner.

Their products are formulated by co-owner and Druid herbalist Stephen Hotchkiss with an emphasis on traditional ethnobotanical applications from across time and place that celebrate the transformative spiritual potency of plant medicine as a means of reconnection to nature.

On the farm in southern Ontario, roses bloom each summer—delicate, resilient, and impossibly fragrant. They gather them by hand at their peak, steeping their petals in a rich infusion of nourishing oils: jojoba, evening primrose, rosehip, and pomegranate. This slow, careful process draws out their full beauty—petal, scent, and spirit—into a serum that glows with natural vitality.

At the heart of this formulation is Reishi, the legendary adaptogenic mushroom revered for centuries as the “mushroom of immortality.” Their potent Reishi extract delivers deep nourishment at the cellular level, supporting skin regeneration, reducing inflammation, and protecting against environmental stress.
