The New New Age was founded by Katie and Stephen Hotchkiss in 2012 in Los Angeles, California as a Public Benefit Corporation with a core purpose of serving both human and environmental health.  In 2014 the company moved to Stephen’s family farm in rural southwestern Ontario, Canada to better serve the company’s intersectional core purpose by growing healing herbs in an ecologically regenerative manner.

Their products are formulated by co-owner and Druid herbalist Stephen Hotchkiss with an emphasis on traditional ethnobotanical applications from across time and place that celebrate the transformative spiritual potency of plant medicine as a means of reconnection to nature.

At its heart is black cumin seed oil, rich in ancient wisdom and revered for its potent ability to calm inflammation, clarify the complexion, and restore balance to even the most sensitive skin. Its power lies in thymoquinone, a rare compound that supports renewal at the cellular level—soothing, strengthening, and reviving tired or troubled skin.

Their wildcrafted bee balm, rose, and other skin-loving botanicals are gently steeped in golden jojoba oil to release their nourishing essence.  To this, they blend the vivid, amber glow of sea buckthorn fruit oil, a concentrated source of vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, and omega-7—helping to boost elasticity, reduce redness, and soften the appearance of fine lines.
