This Tagine is made from Emily Henry Flame Ceramic and can be used either directly on any heat source* or in the oven to make delicious tagines, stews or any dish that requires simmering. A tagine is a traditional Moroccan vessel designed for cooking things like chicken and stews that benefit from a clay dish for insulation and a slow, low cook to retain moisture. The pointed, cone like lid naturally circulates the steam, moisturizing and infusing the contents for moist, tender, flavourful results.
