Since Klippan began weaving in 1879, they have been known for manufacturing exceptional woolen products. They spin, dye, warp, weave and craft everything in their own oeko-tex® certified factory. That ́s the story of Klippan – a locally-owned family business for over five generations.
Klippan’s mission is, and always has been, to offer beautiful, high-quality textiles produced with great care for the environment.
All wool used in Klippan throws can be traced all the way back to the individual farmer, regardless of whether it is Swedish wool or wool from New Zealand.

This classic Klippan Gotland Throw is made of 25% Gotland wool & 75% lamb’s wool. Gotland wool is fantastically thick and silky to the touch. The Gotland wool comes from a Swedish breed of sheep that has been herded since the Viking Age. If pink is not for you, we’ve also got this throw in red, blue, infinity blue and black dots.

Klippan’s Alm throw is made with 100% eco lamb’s wool. Lambswool comes from the first shearing of a sheep at around the age of seven months. Lamb ́s wool is softer and more elastic than adult wool. The Klippan Oscar throw is made of 100% eco lamb’s wool. The lamb’s wool is completely free from pesticides and no chemicals or antibiotics have been used during breeding making it a lovely natural choice. This throw comes in three lovely colours; Green, Honey and Blue.
