The New New Age was founded by Katie and Stephen Hotchkiss in 2012 in Los Angeles, California as a Public Benefit Corporation with a core purpose of serving both human and environmental health.  In 2014 the company moved to Stephen’s family farm in rural southwestern Ontario, Canada to better serve the company’s intersectional core purpose by growing healing herbs in an ecologically regenerative manner.

Their products are formulated by co-owner and Druid herbalist Stephen Hotchkiss with an emphasis on traditional ethnobotanical applications from across time and place that celebrate the transformative spiritual potency of plant medicine as a means of reconnection to nature.

A woodland feast in a bowl. The Forager’s Soup blends the nutty heartiness of wild and brown rice with a medley of forest mushrooms—lion’s mane, shiitake, maitake, porcini, chanterelle, black trumpet, reishi and cordyceps—each chosen for their deep, earthy flavor and time-honored nourishment.

Slowly simmered, these ingredients weave together into a broth that feels grounding, restorative, and luxuriously simple.

 

Ingredients: Wild Rice, Brown Rice, Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, Shiitake, Chantrelle, Black Trumpet, Maitake, Reishi, Porcini, Nutritional Yeast, Herbs and Spices, Sea Salt, Maple Sugar

Instructions: Just add 5–6 cups of water and let it gently cook for 45 – 60 minutes. The result is a rich, soul-warming soup that serves four—perfect for cozy evenings, shared tables, or whenever you crave the comfort of a meal gathered from the forest floor.m
