Klippan Throw – Summit

Klippan has been a Swedish family run business for over 140 years. Presently, the fourth and fifth generations are working side by side to ensure the company continues to thrive well into the future. Klippan’s philosophy is to combine Swedish design with traditional textile knowledge to produce heirloom-quality wool blankets and throws. Klippan is one of very few producers of its’ kind remaining in Europe.

Klippan’s classic throws are made from 100% lamb’s wool. Lamb’s wool means the first shearing of a sheep that is no more than six months old. In recent years, they have also been able to manufacture throws  from organic lamb’s wool. The organic lamb’s wool is completely free of pesticides and no chemicals or antibiotics have been used in the breeding of the lambs.
