HENCKELS Miyabi Birchwood SG2 Santoku Knife 7″

$459.00

High-quality cookware is one of the most important investments that home cooks can make. That is why all Zwilling J.A. Henckels products are created with this in mind, including the state of the art Zwilling Sol II cookware collection with beautiful satin exteriors, ergonomic handles and advanced Sigma Clad 3-ply steel construction.

The Santoku knife is a versatile knife shape used in preparing fish, meat or vegetables. Where the Chef’s knife has a curved blade and a high tip, the Santoku blade is much straighter with a low tip. This knife is manufactured with a hollow ground edge, also known as a granton edge. The purpose of the granton style blade is to assist with keeping particles from sticking to the knife edge as it cuts, as well as to reduce friction for an easier and faster chopping motion.
